CNC Parts Dept., Inc. is looking for a contractual (1099) bookkeeper. Total time is about 32 hours per month. We currently use Quickbooks with heavy inventory, so this work must be done in-house on a live system.
The candidate should be meticulous, good at reconciling difficult credit card statements and have an understanding of 1099, basic payroll (we have a payroll service), sales tax, and corporate taxes. Accounts payable and receivable experience. Must have strong Quickbooks inventory skills.
Duties include: Reconcile bank accounts; reconcile credit card; pay sales tax and corporate taxes; audit sales and purchase paperwork recorded by staff; pay bills; record deposits; some communication with vendors to fix any billing errors.
Must be able to provide references upon request. An assessment test will be required.
Pay is DOE.
COVID-19 considerations: CNC Parts Dept is an essential supplier to industry.
There are 4 employees in our 4000 square foot building. If hired, you would have your own desk with computer. We have a paper flow set up to allow 24 hours or longer before the next person has to touch the paper. We wear masks when in 6 ft. proximity.

Hours per week:
- The work should take approximately 8 hours per week. Scheduling is flexible, between 6am and 4pm.
