CNC Router Technician

The CNC Router Technician is responsible for the repair, rebuild, and training of CNC routers. This includes traveling to factories, diagnosing and repairing problems, and training operators on how to use the machines.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to factories to diagnose and repair CNC Routers
  • Rebuild CNC Routers as needed
  • Train operators on how to use CNC Routers
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest CNC Router technology

Skills

  • 1+ year of experience in industrial machine repair
  • Strong understanding of CNC Routers
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Soldering electronic connections
  • Wire preparation
  • Laser calibration
  • G-Code and PLC programming
  • Mechanical assembly
  • Some background in DC circuitry
  • Programming in any language
  • AC & DC electronic circuits, including relays and AC/DC/mechanical power transformation
