There were several issues identified with our machine, gantry not square, u-axis coupler not functional, y-axis lead screw mount was loose, and I’m sure a few more. Additionally I’m certain that wiring issues (shorts, length of wires, electrical interference, etc) contributed to our issues. In recent years, we adjusted servo cards and comp tables in an attempt to calibrate the machine. This was in vane because we didn’t identify/address the root causes.
The results of our calibration tests were also somewhat surprising since it has been a while since our machine performed this well! We started machining yesterday and are enthusiastic to see the results.
Thank you again for your help & support, great job!

For several months we have chased trying to get the plugs for the molds manufactured in an economical manner. Prices from several suppliers were huge, even with us supplying raw materials. We pursued some small businesses that on the surface appeared to have more economical solutions, none came through, it was a waste of time effort and money. Eventually I found the MotionMaster for sale and after speaking with Angus felt this was the right way to go and felt confident that CNCPD would be there to help me get the machine running.
Through the efforts of your entire team the machine is now making parts! We are back on track and will be able to get the body done! Each one of you has contributed to this. Angus has fielded many calls. Owen has taken calls and texts on his own time and Lynn has certainly helped with the post issues. Again, thank you all for your help, service like this is hard to find these days!
