Multi-Axis Machining Center with Dual 5×5 Moving Tables

Engineered for complex multi-surface geometry, this 5-axis Motionmaster CNC router provides a rigid, fixed-bridge platform for heavy-duty industrial carving, trimming, and mold making. Outfitted with twin 5’ x 5’ aluminum moving tables and a 30-inch vertical Z-axis stroke, this machine excels at navigating deep-cavity setups and high-profile workpieces without component interference.

The structural mass of the frame is paired with a Perske spindle, known across the industry for reliability, balance and longevity under continuous loads. Retrofitted and rewired in late 2022 with a modern Fagor 8055 Power controller, this platform delivers the mechanical integrity of classic iron combined with the rapid processing speeds and ethernet connectivity required by modern CAD/CAM departments.

5-Axis Work Envelope & Table Engineering

  • Production Modes: Designed for pendulum processing configurations, allowing operators to safely clear and reload one table while active continuous 5-axis machining occurs on the parallel table.

  • Enclosure Rating: TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled) IP54 rated motor housing to guard against fine composite dust or foam particulate infiltration.

  • Pneumatic Supplies: Clean, regulated shop air line connection required.
  • Rigging Layout: Fixed-bridge design with twin independent moving tables. Accurate transport weights and external footprint spacing coordinates can be provided to your rigger upon inquiry.

Operational Status

Excellent Post-Retrofit Condition. This machine underwent a comprehensive electrical rebuild and control retrofit by our internal technical team in December 2022. It features clean backplane layouts, updated wiring schematics, and has been thoroughly tested for multi-axis tracking accuracy. Available for full operational demonstration under power.

Motion Control & 2022 Control Retrofit

  • CNC Control Platform: Fagor 8055 Power CNC system (featuring an advanced CPU-CNC PowerPC module and built-in diagnostic video interface).
  • Simultaneous Processing: Full simultaneous 5-axis motion pathing with integrated tool center point management for precise compound angle contouring.
  • Data & Networking: Integrated Ethernet connection, 2 GB Hard Drive storage, USB, and RS-232 communication lines for rapid large-file vector loading.
  • System Rebuild History: Stripped, completely rewired with new electrical routing, and converted to the Fagor 8055 Power control platform by our technicians at the end of 2022.
  • Setup Interface: Custom CNC Parts Dept. (CNCPD) handheld remote teach pendant equipped with a high-resolution manual pulse generator (MPG) dial, dual-axis dial selectors, cycle controls, and a dedicated emergency stop switch.
